The mayor declared June 15 as Wes Neal Day in Kansas City, Kansas.

Wes Neal owns the Boulevard Drive-In, one of the 350 drive-in theaters that continue to operate in the United States. Thanks to Brian, Wes’s grandson, the Boulevard became the first drive-in in 2012 to offer 4K-resolution digital projection.
