Shriner’s Hospital gives boy a 3D printed bionic arm

Shriner’s Hospital got a 3D printed bionic arm custom made to look like Marvel superhero Iron Man for 8-year-old patient. It’s pretty cool what you can do with a 3D printer!

“The 3D printed bionic arm for the 8-year-old Lynnfield resident was the first for the health system, which has 22 facilities located in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The arm will help Sam, a bilateral amputee, during sports and with everyday tasks.” Read more about it at MassLive.
